Stories are amazing things. Whether they're told by an Oscar Winning Writer on the Screen or a Father at the end of a Bed, stories tell us who we are, where we came from, and where we're going. They inform our values, draw on our emotions, and cultivate the foundations for thriving communities big or small.

After graduating from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor's in Philosophy, Grayson spent the past two years working as an Executive Assistant for a small production company called Noirtainment and performing Development Evaluation for the International Screenwriter's Association.

There's nothing I can be more thankful for than the wide range of experiences these opportunities have provided me. I've worked tirelessly on both Live-Action and Animated Projects with a heavy emphasis on our in-production Animated Series, "Haisley". I've met brilliant people all down the line, from animators to producers, to composers, and writers, it seems there's a never ending current of talent.

Additionally, I've read thousands of screenplays in both a scoring/contest capacity (which mostly includes initial reads) and full, deep dives, writing thousands of pages of notes for hundreds of screenplays and recommending finalists for contests in Animation, Western, Sci-Fi, and Horror genres. The writing process is a personal one and my notes intend to reflect and respect that. My approach is calm and compassionate, developing the Story the writer wants to tell rather than the one they "should" tell.

Arndt’s favorite stories to read have distinct voices revolving around captivating, compelling characters and often operating within absurd premises. Comedy, Horror, Animation, and a mixture of all these are where you'll find him the most excited.

My hope is that I will continue to learn more everyday I work with scripts and stories, eventually developing my own writing skills to be able to share the Stories that I want to tell. I want to stretch the imagination, look critically and constructively at the world, and shine lights in dark corners that often go unnoticed.
